My husband is an apartment manager so he knows all about landlording, and we hope to be on the other end of it someday (actually owning the building and/or property management company).I'm from southern California, on the cusp of Los Angeles and Orange counties, so I'm looking to network and build wealth in both these areas.My short-term goals are to wholesale while my long-term goal is to create enough passive income to not have to worry about working, and have more time to focusing on family, charity, and other endeavors.

There is charity and there is good business sense. the two are not compatible.I'll also caveat this post by saying I'm not a landlord, but based one what I've heard and read, this is what most if not every landlord on here will tell you.

I would consider becoming a billionaire or at least owning several more businesses... might go back to Europe/UK (I've already travelled lots), might take more vacations.. probably do a lot more creative stuff like put out music and make a difference.. then hide out somewhere, get married and raise a family. lol. and stay in closer touch with friends and relatives all over the world but I do that anyways, I might do more of it. and I already give to charities.. and do what I want most of the time.

I would suggest that it should be done by the local governments only who will turn (usually) to business and churches and other charities to assist and it will be truly a complete community effort which will more than likely actually benefit all.
