I bought a Victorian mansion from a friend who hired the local professional flooring/bathroom company to install the bathroom tile and she had 3/6 bathrooms with large tile crack and have other issues that she had to have them come replace the tile twice in one bathroom.

Very proud of this 1894 Victorian and the transformation it has gone through.

The multiplexes made from old Victorians are a thing of the past now. the ones that exist are grandfathered in but you will be hard pressed to take a 2500 ft SF and make it a 1250/2 duplex.

There are some decent Victorian multi-families for good prices a block away from the Pacific Ave and the tail end of the Miracle Mile, but it also borderlines on the sketchy just north of Harding Way.

Some B&Bs can get good values if they have been set up as a B&B and have some other significance(ie victorian mansion or elegant farm house).  

My mother had a beautiful Victorian home in Boston Ma.

We are experimenting with 3D printing to reproduce an elaborate crown moulding in a Victorian property we are planning to renovate.

Crown molding - no houses have that (except the old victorians) around here.
