Looking at the place, the price is very elevated.

My partner made the point that the tenants could possibly do damage before they leave and we would like to eleveate the risk with a clause stating: "  Closing of transaction is subject to condition of property meeting acceptable conditions based on initial inspection and remaining in said condition as of day of closing.

For example if you have stairways that are not code compliant or if you need an elevator or do you need sprinklers7.

In many areas this means bringing the entire structure up to Current building codes, which may mean a higher minimum floor elevation, which may be impossible.

If it is ongoing then elevated moisture should be present.

It's more elevation then a steep hill.

The home is on a hill, actually more of an elevation, not too steep at all located on a high traffic main street in town, and I was a bit afraid about the foundation seeing it was also built in the early 1900's.

It's only 90 miles away from our home, but we live at 8,000 ft elev with long winters, short summers, and this home actually allows me to have a garden and a long summer, so it's ok.
