Possible FOUNDATION Issue...NEED Advice!

Hello BP!
I want to purchase a foreclosed home but I am a bit afraid of foundation issues after hearing what listing agent told me . The home is on a hill, actually more of an elevation, not too steep at all located on a high traffic main street in town, and I was a bit afraid about the foundation seeing it was also built in the early 1900's.  Any advice or thoughts at how much work I could be looking at with foundation only on a part of the backside of home. I'm not worried about baths, windows, roof, doors, etc. I am use to that stuff with my other rehabs.

Its a great deal with high comps and next to two major Universities. Any advice would be helpful.

Depending on the margins of the deal it could definitely work out for you. I would suggest getting a structural engineer or foundation specialist in the home to quote you on the work or have some sort of contingency in the offer letting you do that. A foundation can make or break a deal so I would get a professional to look at it before doing anything
