Possible FOUNDATION Issue...NEED Advice!

Hello BP!
I want to purchase a foreclosed home but I am a bit afraid of foundation issues after hearing what listing agent told me . The home is on a hill, actually more of an elevation, not too steep at all located on a high traffic main street in town, and I was a bit afraid about the foundation seeing it was also built in the early 1900's.  Any advice or thoughts at how much work I could be looking at with foundation only on a part of the backside of home. I'm not worried about baths, windows, roof, doors, etc. I am use to that stuff with my other rehabs.

Its a great deal with high comps and next to two major Universities. Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks in advance!

Depending on the margins of the deal it could definitely work out for you. I would suggest getting a structural engineer or foundation specialist in the home to quote you on the work or have some sort of contingency in the offer letting you do that. A foundation can make or break a deal so I would get a professional to look at it before doing anything
