I do however have written agreements in the form of dated e-mail threads between both myself and my Partner that he can also attest to being legitimate.

There could be winter activities nearby that attract people such as ice fishing, snowmobiling, etc.I also discovered they had variable rate pricing depending on which dates and if you stay 1 -3 nights or less in the high season, they limit stays to 1 week minimum, Friday to Friday, to minimize turnover costs, etc.

However CT favors the tenant over landlord so they will not be so nice to you if there rent is up to date they may enforce the guest leave or find that certain circumstances make the guest a permanent resident.
