The net result is that big banks, especially those that were deemed  "Too Big to Fail" were empowered to grow even larger as they were actually given money to devour their former competitors.Chances are that the readers of my post did nothing to stop this terrible development because they believed that they were not being harmed.

You may also find that neighborhoods sometimes have multiple names or there may be small pocket of a neighborhood within larger ones which can make it unreliable to go off of neighborhood names only.

I love your idea of going multifamily this was my plan as we'll because of the extra cashflows it allows but I would say for an investment property go with FHA loan because the rates are so low and do a 30 yr or 40 yr if you can because you want to stay as liquid as possibile and not tie all of your cash up into one property so if another investment comes along you have capital to do it .
