@Shane BaumI took the CO brokers exam in April.Whatever you do, DO NOT use Real Estate Express (McKissock Company) online website.

Marc, there are also some "peer to peer" lending companies like Lending Club which may be available to you, though I've read mixed reviews of them online.Here are a couple of articles I bookmarked on the topic: Peer-to-peer lending: From the people, for the people; and Wall Street's Takeover Of Peer-to-Peer Lending Almost Complete.Also, the Mister Money Mustache forums seem to have some good commentary on specific companies such as Lending Club (since MMM was an early user/proponent of it - not sure where he stands on it now).

Bigger Pockets protects itself through the “Responsibility for User-Generated Content Posted on or Through this Site” under the “Terms of Use”, but make no protections for the user, and in fact, disallows it.I have tried to contact bigger pockets about this, but have not received any reply. 

Google it - as there are dozens on the internet that will do it for you

funding comes from your saved up cash and a HML  although those price points may be tough as they are too small in some instances.go to meet ups meet investors with cash looking to place it  ( private lenders)  HML are on the internet deal only with for real companies  watch out for social scammers.. like facebook lenders etc.

It's a breath of fresh air on the internet.
