I have a property in Plaza Midwood that needs a complete kitchen overhaul, exterior improvements, and a bathroom renovation.

It's large, is a 1920's historic home in a very high-demand area, and feedback has been that we are priced correctly ($500k), but the house is not upgraded enough.The kitchen & bathrooms are dated, so I've decided that I need to fix those up.

Most of the places I look at have out-dated kitchens, bathrooms, carpet, and popcorn ceiling.

We found a community bank who told us if we had running water and one usable bathroom, a heat source, and the drywall up with the walls primed it would be considered livable.

The apartment is about 1000 sq ft, two bedrooms, a large living room and large kitchen with a bathroom off the kitchen.

More bathrooms are nice for tenants but are more work in potential plumbing problems for investors.
