Because of the legal structure of a CO-OP, they seem to have more 'discretion' over who buys in, and IF they allow renting.I've had the same thing occasionally happen in Condos.Best approach: DYOR and make sure you understand the process for the particular building you want to buy into.

There are some investors as members on here that are very busy that I work with buying properties on occasion.They are flying all over the country looking at properties to purchase etc.I only do deals in Georgia currently but they buy all over.So I would assume some are real busy doing deals and only glance at the site occasionally as that's all they have time for.Some are just readers more than posters.It's the way all forums work.
