I feel it's an excellent alternative that helps give the property a facelift.  

If I bid on that home and win, are the liens  expunged so to speak or would I be on the hook for them?

We've looked at 2 other manufacturers so far (Professional building systems and Excel).

Having said that, I believe Cuba would be an excellent investment as it will attract plenty of new visitors who will fall in love with what it has to offer.
