Hello - I am Wei, pronounced "WAY" by the... way, ha. I suppose when the owner of the website tells you to introduce yourself in the New Member Introductions forum you do it (I had no chance winning that frame I suppose @Joshua Dorkin)

I am an accidental landlord from the Richmond, VA area. My wife and I bought our first primary home in North Chesterfield in 2006 during the peak of the market. Needless to say after the burst of the housing bubble we turned to renting instead of selling the property to avoid a hefty loss in equity.

Fast forward to 2015, I manage our one single family home without a property management company (woo hoo! very impressive I know...) and since beginning of the year I have been working with an agent looking to expand my rental portfolio. The meantime I am learning and exploring other real estate investment vehicles (wholesaling, rehabbing, etc). I actually signed up BiggerPockets awhile ago but I didn't become active until recently when I started listening to the Podcasts, boy am I hooked!

My current goal is to build a network, expand my buy-&-hold, and learn & grow as a real estate investor with the BP community (even though sometimes I feel like my goal should be taking over the world after listening to show #108)! I look forward to learning and meeting folks and hopefully being able to return the favor!
