I have been learning so much about self storage and yet I feel that there is so much more to learn, from value adds vs developing a land. 

Very cheap land, now selling for $100,000 for 2 acre lots.On our latest self storage location we bought an 8 acre farm lot in a larger town. 

Basically the property is being used as storage until the end of month.

I took note of the multifamily zoning and massive storage area and knew I could create two streams of income from the basement level.

I have an upper level in my house that i currently use as an office and storage.

A few self storage facilities are already there and are always full. 

In my case, I have residential rentals in one LLC, commercial properties in another, self storage in a third, and my real estate company operates in a fourth.

I now have 33 rentals, 135 storage units, my net cash flow is over $150,000, and my net worth is approaching $3 million.

We are very short on rental housing (and subsequently storage) as like previously mentioned about Stevens Point, GB/Fox Valley has a number of strong (and economically resilient) companies and industries that are hiring.
