@Kurt Kline Like a lot of people are stating above ^^, their are multiple ways to save up for your first deal. yes there are less aggressive ways to save (online savings, MMA accounts, ETF's) or more aggressive (crowd-fund platforms, private money lending, day trading).

I tend to agree that AirBnb should actively pursue and address their platform use issues with the municipalities in the NYC marketplace to prevent incidents such as the example going viral and threatening their rental platform franchise in this marketplace as well as many others around the world.

For those not in the know (like me)  MHP is Mobile Home Park.[ just too many acronyms ]

As a general contractor for the past 3+ decades I still reach out to them even though I'm qualified to build or remodel structures from the pad up.The things you really need to know are amperage, type of wiring which I assume could be the old cloth type wrapping around what could be aluminum wiring which has popped up on older homes and especially early 60's and 70's mobile homes. 

It gives me the room platform and design ideas I will take to Home Depot and a local boutique cabinet supplier for cost comparison. 

Do you still do the mobile homes?

Should I bother increasing the aesthetic value (landscaping, newer homes, etc) to make it feel/look more like a Mobile Home Community?

Are there any other directions you could recommend/ platforms you would focus on? 

I'm buying the mobile homes in a certain place because the area is prime.
