The only tangible issue I see with keeping it is the whole VA allocation you get if you were to buy a house.

If not you will need a very large hot water heater.Would that remedy issues of hot water running out 

I am simply looking for the best option, and am torn, because while I know I want to become financially free by 35, I also know I will never get these college days back, to simply do as I please relatively, with the least amount of responsibility I will have from this point forward.

I can't imagine it really has to do with this EXTREMELY minor payment issue.
