But mine has been to tie gifts like this to a purpose. 

(That's where they borrow money, don't pay it back and then claim that since they were paid in paper money, not gold, they are not required to repay the debt and they get to keep the property.

Finally, if you’re concerned about true value, as a lender said to a friend of mine who did invest in a turnkey, the lender has a vested interest in ensuring that the price matches value since they too have money in the deal.

There has been 3 recently sold rehabbed property's like mine but 10 non rehabbed and the price difference is 100k. 

A friend of mine lives down the street and knew that the owner had moved out of state and had this house rented.

I know how to control mine and I also know that sometimes they can not be controlled.
