Most DSCR loans have decent rates right now, so there's no real need to refinance them if the numbers work, however, most have a prepayment penalty of anywhere from 1 year to 7 years (depends on the lender)If you qualify for a conventional loan, that's the place to start your investment journey, but if you don't qualify for one reason or another (and there are several) DSCR loans are way easier and close faster in general.

Journey to your 1st was certainly filled with textbook level big challenges.

I am currently in the early stages of my real estate investing journey and I am gaining new knowledge everyday from BP readings and just from networking.

It could be beneficial to begin your realty journey someplace where living is affordable, decent income is possible, and overall growth is likely (oh, and freedom may be important as well - and the US is becoming very segregated in that respect).
