I have seen some that have actually increased pricing - when I questioned them on it they noted there is lack of supply on the market right now because funds are holding assets.

On the one hand, it seems like the recession would cause prices to go down, but on the other, supply in the places where people want to lives remains constrained.

My husband and I are wanting to start investing into single family homes in a high demand/low supply area near us.

Neither side has central AC, tenants supply own window units.

There's no national rate, and usually set by local supply and demand based on local conditions. 

Less and less supply means higher and higher prices on the rentals that are still in operation.

In Southern California, the demand for rent is much higher than its supply.

One tricky one that stumped me for a while - I had sealed off any holes around the perimeter but they were getting in via a small space around the main water supply pipe!  

Same with Supplies because I buy a lot of supplies - paint, electrical stuff, ceiling fans, etc.
