I am an aspiring investor, near the end of my enlistment in the army, stationed here at Fort Stewart.

I am new to Connecticut i am stationed at the United States Coast Guard station there, i am originally from Gilbert Arizona. i am interested in buying  a multi-family living in one side & renting out the other, i am also interested in buying nasty homes & flipping them.

The easy answer seems to be the ladder but the condo we have continues to go up in value and is right by a metro station which in the DC area helps a ton with renting and value.

During my transition, I would like to invest in long distance real estate because should everything go as planned, I will once again be stationed in Oahu.

All of those have paid off in a few months and the rates I won on them were fairly low.I stay away from gas stations - too many EPA issues with the land.There are many strategies by lien investors.

The residents expressed the horrible school system in Missouri added to the crime problems....sorry if I exaggerate but I saw shady people on the streets near gas stations with no real business and the houses for the most part look rundown... 

Been in College Station for the past three years, and I'm in Houston for a summer internship. 

I am a military guy who has investment homes at most of my duty stations and am heading back to Pensacola soon.
