I suspect he would say get rid of all your CC cards.. and then what ever income you have start paying them down.. for me I would concentrate on paying minimum on all but one knock out one then go to the next one..

It's also a form of insurance, against litigation, and used for asset protection.That being said, till you have substantial assets and/or income to protect, you should concentrate on getting the level of wealth or generating the income requiring asset protection an LLC provides.

A few tips for you:1) As active duty you can easily pull your COE off the internet using the VA ebenfits website. 2) The VA loan requires a funding fee to use,  it can be wrapped into the loan but it is still an extra 2+% in cost.
