I also encourage you to think about amenities that are intentional and thoughtful, like a desk or work station, a small fitness area with a yoga mat, a "library" or bookshelf with reading options, or blending outdoor/indoor living spaces where possible (of course, if your unit allows it).

Or the ones who weren't familiar with American indoor plumbing limitations.

A lot of it is dependent on whether you are trying to make real estate your business vs an investor in my personal opinion

Note: depending on the renovation, I would do any indoor renovations while tenants occupy the house.

Just finding out what the partner in that locality looks like is the big difference maker imho.
