While others on the forums are engaged in idle talk about the market and rates, you are making it happen.

Maybe the answer is "yes", but I just don't have enough insight on what a CPA would even cost to answer that question (and I don't want to engage one until I have a little more understanding of what using a CPA "the right way" would even look like. 

If you are going the route of engaging a GC (general contractor) to provide a turn-key option, then you are relying on them to make decisions in these areas to complete your project for what they perceive as your expectations (not always correct) but is a nice option if you are looking for a hassle free (relatively) process... but it comes with a premium in my experience.
