We did need to upgrade some windows for the required above ground level egress, but that was planned regardless.I took a couple of courses so was allowed to design & install it myself.

On the flip side, there are many decent pockets there, and odds are good it's been designated an "Opportunity Zone" under the recent federal laws.Bottom line - I would talk to a specialist in the area who knows that neighborhood.
