Some will have a scratch resistance coating.

They paint the sub-floor with a few coats, and say it does wonders!

The siding looks fine, has couple of bands and cracks, has a lot of missing j channels along the roof, and it was already painted, so I don't know if it's a good idea to put another coat. 

We now found ourselves renovating 8 very bad units (with time we didn't have and we hadn't counted on borrowing/spending), chasing off prostitutes, watching people literally fight each other for the scraps of copper pipe we were tossing into the bin, and waking up at 1am each night to chase away people showing up to buy drugs as soon as they got out of the local penitentiary...

After running the numbers multiple times and not trying to sugar coat them at market rent, units B-D would cover my PITI, but I would basically be on the hook for everything else which includes future pest removal, the 230 avg water bill, 80 avg trash pickup.This is my first home/house hack and I'm eager to jump into the business to get experience but dont want to set myself up for massive regret. 

Live with your parents as long as possible, and save every penny so you can get your 30% down on your first rental property and then continue to live with your parents and leverage that equity for more.

Off the kitchen, we have a coat closet locked up, which holds the booze and personal cooking items.
