I'm new to real estate and am working through my initial education phase.My first goal is to purchase 5 rental properties because I love recurring income and believe that this strategy is best suited for my goals and personality.I'm still a ways off from going through my first deal, but as I prepare, I have a question about financing that I think I need to start addressing now...I freelance for a living and I think that this may make it more difficult for me to get a loan since I don't have a "stable income."

I just recently joined BP and have been doing a lot of research lately in order to educate myself on real estate investing.As a result, I've decided wholesaling is what I should do to get started.

I read "Rich Dad Poor Dad" about a month ago and it gave me a new purpose in life after pursuing a career in education, and then really not wanting to pursue a career in education.

I've contemplated becoming a Commercial Agent, but can't really afford not making money for a year, so I figured I should educate myself.

These are the people that can be worked/groomed into giving you some very good deals.Start making a list of addresses and visit your county courthouse to look up ownership (public knowledge).

Another 1st hand experience is that you'll need to dedicate several nights a weekand half of your weekends to education and networking.
