They have big landscape companies in GA, SC and TN come down and rake the straw between the tree lines, bail it up and haul it back up for resale to Home Depot, Lowes, and whoever else wants it.

I would lightly sand,apply some wood conditioner and stain then add poly, they will look awesome.I did my home and had the same problem.Ask for it at Home Depot.

I've been told by an attorney in my city that if anyone uses the off the shelf leases you get at Staples or Office Depot, they actually aren't even legal in my city.
