But we all see what's missing in there: it's a cookie cutter life that is palletized, shrink wrapped, and shipped to someone as a "life" by the Amazons and institutions of modern America. 

Now worth about 700M and bringing in about 6M/month in rents (it has a separate studio so it's really 2 doors).

I rent studio's through AirBnB and VRBO.

It is too much of a headache to move even if it is a small studio you're renting out.

I just want to bring up one other factor, if the unit is small say a studio or smaller 1 bed you might consider furnishing if the area is right for furnished rental.
