Unfortunately the building I bought in does not support STR but I still think its a solid play as a regular long term rental.

You should definitely avoid doing anything that gives a hint of discrimination particularly during these times when the government is much more supportive of the tenant than the landlord.

I strongly believe the industry is changing and sellers expect to receive more support and options.

One more question...In the video I shared above, Anson Young says he likes to search for real estate deals in cities of 100K-250K people, since that level population supports demand and there's less competition than in the major cities.

For instance, do I negotiate the purchase price to support the IRS reported revenue and income?

Have you gone to your broker and asked for support?

The basement wall has crumbled on one side, the support posts have fallen off the porch and it is currently condemned due to structural damage.
