I am a visual learner and I even learn faster when I see the numbers.

So you can reasonably see most of the unit.I have cleaners that see the entire interior of my units on about a quarterly basis.

However, I don't see the market dropping anytime soon in the area.

Those numbers you see, the 3.375% in this case, is how many discount points it would take to hold constant your interest rate.

Be sure to see the propery before you buy and or do BPO as this is the asset you may eventually own.

Especially when you're investing from out of state - you won't know the market well and you won't be able to see the property regularly - you need to know that the people you work with are incentivized (perfect word, @Jeff Wallenius) to do good work. 

There are still a few deals to be had but you may have to look past the current condition of the house and area to see the future value.  

I worked on the initial design for the CHUM so it was cool to see the 1st phase of the hospital almost complete.

I suggest you find a similar comp on the MLS/pseudo MLS sites and see the tax information for the previous year.

@Bill S. so if I was ready to pursue this property, I would assume the first step would be to drive to it and see the property and area for myself.
