As long as you've satisfied or intended to satisfy the occupancy requirement then you can go buy a second home using the VA product and make the first house a rental without breaking any rules.But once you've reached two properties under a VA product, then yeah you'd have to get creative.

Overall, I think that there's definitely significant overlap in the lodging market between hotels and Airbnb, but there's also quite a bit the market that traditional hotels satisfy more effectively than Airbnb (and vice versa).
