My wife and I just listed our first STR (single family home, 8 guests), and I have a question about dynamic pricing. 

Buying a single-family home (SFH) for $400k-$550k and renting it out for $2.5k-$3k results in a relatively low rent-to-price ratio.

-Rob,Greg, and Al I'd start with a real estate agent sending you all the new construction 2-4 family styles that have sold and pick one that is small and compact and sells for a premium.

Mostly because we have family/realtor there who have experience investing in West Lafayette.

I'm interested in Henderson for its proximity and AZ because I have family there, but am hesitant because I've heard that cashflowing properties are non-existent/extremely hard to find.

The only slowdown we have seen is on multi-family clients.  

Hello, I am thinking about looking to Invest in Austin area single family residential property in the next 6 months to one year.I am also thinking about 3 bedroom 2+ bath which may typically within the range of investment.Since its going to be for Rental, what is the preferred in Austin area for renting out, is it single storey house with 3 bedrooms with 1500+ Sqft or two storey with 2000+ sqft and upstair bedrooms?
