It all depends on how your contract is written, if you’ve allowed any loop holes or didn’t outline in writing BEFORE they signed the lease then you need proper guidance on how to protect your assets to get out of the contract.I will say that if they started off lying then it comes way to easy for them.

Hire a licensed inspector and go with him/her.

I’m guessing it has less to do with the redemption period than the statutory time someone can challenge the validity of the sale.....proper notices, etc. 

I recently applied for a business license on a new rental and found that there were a few violations posted for work completed without permits: construction/demo, electric and plumbing.

They need to be licensed and insured.

The fact they are complaining online might be an indication the property manager dealt with them properly so be sure to ask the manager for their side of the story.7.

@Dave Shellenberger - Wilmington, Delaware does indeed have a local ordinance that requires all landlords who live outside of New Castle County to have a licensed property manager on their rental property license.

As an agent, I still prefer to have my clients email me the requests so that I make sure the properties get properly covered.
