If that's flipping houses, then so be it, but unless your profile picture is horribly out of date you've got a whole life ahead of you and that's a long time to not be doing something you're passionate about.

It will also diversify the risk of investment as you are spreading that risk profile as you mentioned.It will also increase your return on the existing property.
