Just wanted to say hi and thank the creators for making this website and community, i just stumbled upon it in some research and have yet to do a through digestion but i wanted to say hi especially to those in the Northwest.Also if someone in the greater Seattle area is willing i am looking for a un/paid internship or apprenticeship just to get my feet wet in this sector, i have been an investor in stocks and all that jazz for some time but want to expand as i am starting my career trek.

I'm more than an investor so I would consider my Real Estate Company a business.If one were just a real estate investor they might not consider it as a business (if they were equating it to say the stock market).

There is also a strong possibility that there are no good buyers in India for that property at that price + 30% (your investment return minimum for example), in which case the US-based investor will have difficulty unloading.I'm not against investing in India on principle, but if you're a US-based investor, please don't start that conversation with a salesperson located in Delhi.

The only way to make that work is to buy at the right price and know the market both for sales and rentals, but it really does make things better :DI think in the stock market that's called diversification?
