This conversation helps each party get to know the other.The more investors you take on (with lower offering minimums), the larger your operation becomes in terms of development, compliance, and customer service.

Humor, a good way to disarm the ego.Heres a conversation that I just had with my real estate broker in Charlotte in regard to acquiring a particular property...Me to my Real Estate Broker:“Tell the seller that I will take him and his other owners in Charlotte to dinner if he excepts my offer.”

Short back story, as a Midwestern boy raised with Puritan values, there was zero conversation about finances and anything personal for that matter.
