So is Jackson Heights.I still like Bed-Stuy and have just purchased a $1.5 Million 3 Family building a month ago.One reason why I like Bed-Stuy is for at least 3 things (remember, have at least 3 things but these two things are BIG).1) The L-Train will be shutting down.

One issue that is commonplace with commercial/residential combo properties - that has even resulted in lawsuits - is with the failure of the residential tenant to have the "peaceful use of the property" (the apartment) should the convenience store have late evening/all night hours, noise associated with operating it (car doors shutting, loitering/gathering, music), and the type of store signage (if lit, does it shine in apartment?).
