I understand your point, but I'm not on board with the logical leap that AirBnB = Building a Holiday Inn.Planning commissions do zoning to contain commercial activity, but it is often used by entities with vested interests to create barriers to entry and restrict competition.Further - Taking actions like banning AirBnB only creates a black market - similar to what's happening with STR's in New York.I'm not trying to make the point that there should be no zoning ... only to say that there are more factors at play than most people recognize.

Come on guys, as investors we're inherently egotistical proud monsters... you know a cow with black and white dollar signs all over it with the words "cash cow" land lord, investing like a BOSS, or "I got 99 house problems but they all make money" with the same BP logo on the front or back would sell a ton more BP T-shirts and would be a lot more attention grabbing.

Black and darker colors blend a little better, IMO.

We have a dog (black lab) and just had carpet scrubbed and shampooed this week (carpet is about 4 yrs old). 2 days later (to allow plenty of time) I came back and discovered that the carpet smells like wet dog.

Rather than condemn property owners as black-hearted profit pirates, a better focus would be to advocate for changes to the existing system with the local, state and federal governments.

The black light is a big help but a ULV fogger with an enzyme then later a disinfectant for good measure would be my next step.
