Look at your phone contacts and ask friends for referrals of people they have actually worked with.

Also, just get a 1-800 number which can be forwarded to your home phone or cell.

Like any agency, phone tag happens sometimes, but if you're there in person, you'll likely walk out with an answer, a smile, and a handshake. 

As someone else said (and I'm on my phone so I can't check right now to give them credit), this sounds like a return wire issue (what is commonly, but mistakenly, referred to as the neutral).

I have great credit thanks to the myfico forums and a total credit limit of $14,000 I have no debt and just pay my cell phone bill and the Verizon triple play package bill for my household which totals about $200 a month.

I have bought a few with a phone call, but I had already been working the people and trusted them.      

If they try to tell you it's all over the phone or they don't have it anymore I would highly doubt that.
