If the building does nothing more than get you excited about the possibilities of other buildings, the adventure will still be worthwhile to investigate.

A little back story: I started my RE adventures with attending county foreclosure auctions last September.

I do currently reside in Chicago, IL but do plan to return to my home town of Dallas in the next 2 to 3 years in which I plan on investing in real estate (my next entrepreneurial adventure...and a way to fund new ventures as well)...diversification is key!

Your best bet may just be finding a good agent who can help you with those tasks and either throwing some work their way or seeing if you'd be able to compensate them for the research!
