"Sell" it "contract for deed" / "land contract" / "installment sale", where the "monthly payment" is the desired "rent", and the buyout (balloon) number is so high that the "buyer" (occupant) will never get to that.

We are all people with a variety of belief systems, and each believes they are right in their own eyes.Absolutely agreed...At the same time, let's encourage Christians to stop telling Muslims and other non-Christians that they are going to hell if they don't change their belief system...For those of us who are not religious, it's very easy to see why there is so much conflict among religions -- everyone thinks that they right and the rest of the world is not only wrong, but deserves to be punished for being wrong.

Even if you don't ultimately use the land trust for the overall "structuring" of your deal the cost is so low that it's well worth it.

There is a reason the price is so low....usually, condo developers are not idiots, so may be they know something you don't...and it's reflected in the price.As Jon mentioned, seller financing might be an option, with skin in the game, but like I said, they are not idiots, so I'm sure they are aware of the options at hand.
