Prices could be completely different where you are, but at the very least, I would recommend increasing these prices by 30-50% to be safe in your estimations.Good Luck,Clayton

Looks great ($1500)- tile bathrooms ($800)- resurface kitchen cabinets if need be (0-$1500)- put simply safe alarm system ($300)- sometimes I even spend an extra $2000 to put granite countertop...

Find a rich person, show them both contracts and how safe they are and they will go for it.

Unfortunately they were very unprofessional in their techniques during power washing (and in general, in many ways), and our skylight ended up with a huge crack in it.

I have no idea who else had access to the building (previous property manager, etc) so want to stay on the safe side.The previous owner/landlord has owned the building for over 30 years so I want to make sure that this change of ownership goes as smoothly as possible.

I have found, however, that if you talk to the inspector(s) and show you want to do things correctly and safely they will usually be reasonable.  

With potential tenants and ANY dog, I make this point:  if there's an emergency, and I need to enter your apartment, is your dog going to be safe from ME?
