What I mean is that renters are attracted to these areas because they are in close proximity to where they will buy groceries, shop, eat out, and entertain themselves. 

While I don't agree with everything in the books, they are very entertaining and the guys lived the Section 8 Landlord Life successfully for a number of years.

So I hose off my outdoor condensers' fins and spray for ants and have been changing filters for my tenants every few months.

That's one of the reasons I love this site so much; a few real solid, got their heads screwed on tight, hard charging d**ks, and just enough newbies trying to convine us that $1.4MM deals that gross $8K/month are "solid" to be entertaining.

If you're building some spreadsheet that predicts something 10 years from now, it would be more productive and more entertaining to just play online poker.That said, they're both income properties.

The house sits on a very hilly street and the site itself is a big hill, leaving whatever residence would occuply it with no useable outdoor space, not even a driveway for a car.

:)I just find his attitude really interesting and entertaining.
