@Zachary Loesel- I would recommend talking with an attorney I know it'll be more but this one sounds like it has enough moving parts that it would make sense to get an official opinion.

So if the landlord could demonstrate they're evicting for any reason other than non-payment of rent (like a holdover tenant which I believe is what you're suggesting), then that eviction could still proceed according to the language of this ordinance.

ALL OF THIS IS SUBJECT to the Agreement that you currently have with them, so if you have some language in the original lease that gives them the option to auto renew for a specific term, then you have to abide by that but otherwise you have the ability to negotiate new lease terms with them that work for you.

She really liked it and said the landlords were "nice" but that they were actually quite difficult to work with (I think there might be a slight barrier in communications/understanding what the landlords were saying as English is their second language).

They usually leave before “forceful eviction” so that they don’t have an official eviction on their record.

I’ve heard of wholesalers & marketers using Zip Letters, the kind where you rip off the sides and top, looks like a corporate check or official govt notice (I know I generally open this type of mail).
