Whether they will or not, is another story.In the current form, it looks as though if you're a distressed loan buyer (and working the debt you've purchased (as opposed to doing it for someone else) it doesn't appear you're under the regulation of the CFPB based on this ruling.Our counsel is actually investigating it right now to see how it could fully effect us.

I did some investigating and the main things affecting my score are credit utilization (mostly due to low credit limits since even modest balances can push the % utilization up too high) and age of accounts (too many new).
