I've heard horror stories about management companies, especially for out of state owners. 

Well, when I bought 7 years ago, the Bishop Arts District in Dallas was mainly 2 stories max. with lots of SFRs, duplexes, and a few small condos.  

To make a long story short, I really enjoy learning about the benefits and strategies of investing in real estate.

I came across the entrepreneur & CEO Grant Cardone a few months back on YouTube who inspired me to take control early in my life of how I could become a successful person.  

I am biased because I love Cleveland and I see the potential of the city (whether or not the community  and government maximizes the potential is another story) and I am trying to look more objectively at the numbers.

My cousin on the other side is one successful story from the crazy rise.
