Hey there, fellow NYer.I wanted to throw out a warm welcome, and take a second to throw my 2 cents to your question.You already know that the NY metropolitan area prices are kinda off the charts when you compare it to the rest of the country.I suppose it would matter what type of investing you wanted to do - flips or rental income.

The last two houses we sold here in Atlanta, we had got rid of the staging before finally selling them.As you can all see, I am still not warming to the idea of these staging costs coming out of the sellers' end, I just can't see the value to the seller when already paying so much to get the thing marketed and sold.
