If I do move, I'm considering a house hack on a multi-family, ideally a 4-plex.Honestly, I'm familiar with downtown Houston, Spring, The Woodlands, etc. but nothing past the Galleria on the West side. 

However, we want to move to a new state (NC) from where we are currently (FL).

Ideally the property cash-flows on it's own when you move out.

Remote workers, people moving to a city but don't know where they want to settle more permanently, divorcing people who need a temporary stay, etc, etc.

The tenant moved out in June 2023 and is now contesting $500 I withheld from the security deposit.
