Houses were selling at their peak in 2007, so prices may not be back at those prices yet since they were so overpriced then.

Selling now while prices are at or near peak sounds like a pretty good idea.

Flipping is extremely hard work, feast or famine, and subject to market cycles (there's no denying we are at a market peak right now, and none of us knows how long it will last).

It can be a winning strategy in a peaking market.  

After a month or so you will have a better idea of what type of investing peaks your interest and you will have been exposed to a ton of great resources (books, websites, bloggers, etc.) where you can dive deeper into specific topics.

We had already blown open the entire main floor layout, with a header, large center island, and now we vaulted the adjacent living room ceiling to 20’ high at its peak.
