Mitchell is simply stunning and a vacation haven for rentals.An unrenovated cabin anywhere in this area with a great mountain or water views can easily command $250-$300/night and up.  

Later on I intend to move into different markets as I naturally move around.I'm primarily interested in doing multifamily buy-and-holds, and I'd like to complete 2 deals by the end of this year, with a target of 6-8 doors.

This project is essentially a complete gut that will include addition of roughly 700 SQF, new roof, siding, landscaping, privacy fence, hardwood flooring installation, interior re-design into an open concept floor plan, upgraded kitchen with granite counters, new cabinets, stainless steel appliances, etc.

Not exactly sure whether I'll house hack, rent out, or simply live on the property.
