I would suggest when trying to find a property manager to make sure they are licensed, in Ohio you have to be a licensed real estate broker to manager property for someone, there are a lot of unlicensed individuals that try to manage property, this is not a good idea as you will not know if they are knowledgeable of all the different laws that affect housing and if they do something wrong it would fall on you.

Hi @Ian Barnes Contractor fee is just what my GC charged for managing the rehab project instead of adding on to each individual cost.

I’m all the more motivated to get started after reading all the positive replies.
