To get money back out to repay private lender I will be looking to mortgage property.

We've also done some private lending to larger self storage developers as well as secured a nice sized HELOC on our property in hopes of using it on our next project.Our goal now is to build out our rental portfolio faster than we have been to try and gain financial freedom within the next 5 years or sooner. 

Even if it is only currently a legal two family, if it is located in the right zoning district, the "use" of a four unit building may be allowed and it could be an easy legal process to do the conversion. 

What do you think of your system versus the U.S. system of private offerings?
